KOR Inspections Services is an independently owned, family operated service-based business. We work within the local market providing detailed and thorough home inspections in Southwest Chicago and Chicago suburbs. Within our business, we value a customer first approach, and take the time to build a lasting relationship with each client. It is important to us that the services we provide are delivered with the highest quality and accuracy. Each inspection includes an electronic home inspection report.

 

Owner and inspector, Dean Korbas, was born and raised in Chicago. He started his professional career signed out of Curie High School to play baseball for the Chicago White Sox. An arm injury shortly into his contract drove Dean back home where he happily married his high school sweetheart and accepted a new career opportunity with the Chicago Streets & Sanitation Department. 16 years of labor and three children later, Dean pursued a career in law enforcement with the Chicago Police Department where he served honorably for 20 years before retiring.

Dean has always been passionate and interested in home construction and the trades. Becoming a certified home inspector was just the next step in his well-rounded professional career.
